The Academician Zhibiao Nan and the Professor Yuying Shen, teachers from the College of Grassland Agricultural Science and Technology attended the 3rd Shiyanghe Forum and Water and Green Development Symposium in Wuwei during the July 27^th to 28^th. The conference was organized by the China Agricultural Water Research Center of China Agricultural University, Shiyanghe Experimental Station and Wuwei Water Affairs Bureau. More than 100 teachers and students from Tsinghua University, Wuhan University, Tianjin University, Beijing Normal University, Sichuan University, Northwest A&F University, Hehai University, Yangzhou University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Chinese Academy of Water Sciences, Gansu Agricultural University, Gansu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Gansu Water Science Institute, and China Agricultural University also attended the meeting.

  The Academician Shaozhing Kang hosted the opening ceremony. Both the Vice Mayor of the Wuwei City Dezhi yang and the Director of the Agriculture and Rural Science and Education Division Ministry gave a speech. The Academician Zhibiao Nan delivered a ebullient speech at the opening ceremony. Subsequently, accompanied by the Academician Shaozhong Kang, Zhibiao Nan and Yuying Shen visited the laboratory, the greenhouse and the field trials.
