    Qingyang Pastoral Agriculture Science Research Station was founded in October 1981 by Professor Jizhou Ren, who is the member of Chinese Academy of Engineering and the founder of pasture science in China. The station was originally affiliated with Gansu Grassland Ecological Research Institute.
