Zhang Lijing

Associate Professor Li-Jing Zhang is the staff of the Institute of Element Utilization & Management in Grassland Ecosystem, State Key Laboratory of Grassland Agro-ecosystems and College of Pastoral Agriculture Science and Technology, Lanzhou University. 

She obtained her PhD (2006) in Lanzhou University, China, and has worked in Lanzhou University where he has remained successively as a lecturer, and associate Professor. SHe had been to Victorian AgriBiosciences Centre, Department of Primary Industries, Australia as a visiting scholar for one year, and Messay University, New Zealand for six months both supported by China Scholarship Council. 

Currently Dr. Zhang’s lab main research interests concern plant elements and quality  physiology and molecular biology, and the genetic improvement of quality in forages. She has published over 10 papers in international journals including Planta, Gene, Plos one, Biosci. Biotechnol. Biochem., and Biol.Trace Ele. Res. etc.
