Dr. Hao-jie Xu currently works at the State Key Laboratory of Grassland Agro-ecosystems, College of Pastoral Agriculture Science and Technology, Lanzhou University. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has been a lecturer in Lanzhou University since the July, 2017

Currently Dr. Xu does research in Ecosystem Ecology, Environmental Science, and Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System. His project is Vegetation Remote Sensing and Ecohydrology. His main research interest concerns Dynamic Global Vegetation Model (DGVM), Ecological Effects of Climate Extremes, and Effectiveness of The Ecological Construction Projects. He has published 8 papers in international journals, including Agricultural and Forest Meteorology, Science of The Total Environment, International Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation, Ecological Engineering, Ecological Informatics, and Arabian Journal of Geosciences. He is SCI journal reviewers for Science of The Total Environment, Ecological Engineering and Arabian Journal of Geosciences.
