Teachers and students of College of Pastoral Agriculture Science and Technology attended international academic conference

On August 16, Professor Liu Min and PhD student Gao Jing from College of Pastoral Agriculture Science and Technology attended the online international academic conference of “Linking Farmers to Markets: Barriers, Solutions, and Policy Options” held by Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI).

At the conference, Gao Jing delivered an academic report titled: Do “top-down” policy interventions promote the development of rural e-commerce? The report empirically analyzes the impact of policy intervention on e-commerce development in the rural areas of China, using GMM-based dynamic regression model, in combination with statistical data, remote sensing technology, geographic information system (GIS) data and web crawler data, and this research also provides reference for other developing countries to promote e-commerce development in rural areas through national policy.
